I've had quite a few clients complain about loss of business (time cost and inconvenience) by Windows 10 doing updates at the worst possible times, that have on some occasions resulted in loss of data for the user. In addition Patch reliability can be dubious. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, it's not recommended for it to be done urgently. However, long term updates are (by and large) a good thing, but should be done in a sensible managed way.
